For youth workers, teachers, and organisations on youth-centric development and building a positive environment for young people in educational institutions.
Creating structured learning experiences that are customised journeys for organisations that cater to their internal realities and vision.
To build a conducive ecosystem for youth development it is critical to build capacities of social workers, youth workers, and programme designers to engage with youth effectively. We have observed a gap in general capacity-building trainings which are heavily content-based and not application-based. For adult learners though, application-based learning is best. Thus, Pravah designs its capacity-building programmes for adult learners which are learner-centric, based on action and reflection, and largely experiential.
Our capacity-building trainings range from life skills training, and personal leadership development to effective youth engagement, coaching and mentoring, instructional design and facilitation, community engagement etc.
Pravah’s strength lies in creating structured learning experiences which are customized journeys for the organisations and their members' learning needs. Our designs and core beliefs are based on the principles of lifelong learning and leadership development. This supports us develop and facilitating engaging learning and development programmes for professionals across the age spectrum.
In partnership with several social sector organisations, Pravah has designed and facilitated many journeys, consultations, training and staff retreats for organisations like Plan India, NSS, CREA, Breakthrough, Action Aid, IGSSS, Jamghat, NEG Fire, Khoj, Rajiv Gandhi National Institute for Youth Development, Oxfam, UNICEF, UN Women, American Centre amongst few.
